Chairman

Sir Benjamin Orubon Wilcox

Sir Wilcox holds both a B.Sc in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota, U.S.A with a wealth of experience spanning over 39 years. He is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial consultant. He has consulted for the Federal Government of Nigeria, some State Governments and International Organizations both in Nigeria and abroad. He is a seasoned technocrat from the World Bank. He had a brief stint with Exxon Mobil, New York in the United States of America.

Mr. Wilcox also worked with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), from where he was seconded to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). He set up Fisk Associates Limited, a private financial consultancy Company, where he consults for the Financial Industry, the Federal Government and some State Governments and other conglomerates within and outside Nigeria. He joined the Board of NISL in April 2011.

Managing Director/C.E.O

Mr. Laolu Martins

Mr. Martins holds a B.Sc. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos; he is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria with 17 years experience in investment banking, corporate banking, stock broking, asset management and pension fund management. He is a co-founder of Bukkha Hospitality Limited owners of Bukkahut Restaurants and BH Lounge.
Mr. Martins started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999, he later joined Investment Banking & Trust Company Plc (now Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc) in 2000 where he served in the Financial Control and Trade Finance/Foreign Operations units of the Bank before being seconded to Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Ltd where at various times he was Financial Controller, Head Asset Management and lastly Head Stockbroking before resigning in November 2005 to join Shell Nig. CPFA Ltd (the Fund Manager of the Shell Companies in Nigeria Pensions Scheme with assets under management of over N148billion, as at June 2008) where he was Head – Investments up till June 2008 when he resigned to join NISL.

Otunba 'Bimbola Ashiru

Otunba Ashiru graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Purchasing & Supply and holds a Masters’ Degree in Strategic Management. He started work with Chartered Bank in 1989 and has had a successful banking career spanning over two decades.

Otunba Ashiru served in various capacities of Management of the legacy Chartered Bank Plc; he was Head, Private Banking Unit, Head, Institution & Professional Banking, Regional Coordinator, Country Director Personal and Business Banking. At Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, he was the Director, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Investments and later Director, Public Sector Group. He also represented the Bank on the board of FITC as an alternate Director.

In June 2011, he took a Leave of Absence from Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc in order to serve his home state as he was appointed as the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Ogun State.

Mr. Ibrahim Dutsinma Boyi

Mr. Boyi holds a B.Sc in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an MBA from ESUT Business School, Lagos. He has over 24 years of practical experience in the oil and gas industry, across the West African region. Mr. Boyi is the immediate past MD/CEO of Eterna Oil and Gas Plc and the immediate former CEO of Gaslink Nigeria Ltd, a pioneer natural gas distribution company and has held several senior/executive management positions across several functions such as Strategic Planning, Business Development and Investments, Financial Management, Accounting, Internal control and audit, Marketing and Operations Management.He has extensive experience in financial and business process reengineering, IT systems design, change management, development of corporate strategies and corporate performance management.
He is presently the Managing Director of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited

 

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Ikeazor Okonkwo

Mr. Ikeazor Okonkwo holds a B.Sc. Degree in Accounting from the University of Nigeria and an MBA from Imperial College, London; he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He has over 17 years practical experience in the Audit & Tax, Financial and Oil & Gas sectors. Mr. Okonkwo started his career at Price Waterhouse coopers in 1999 where he held several positions until 2008 when he moved to Keystone Bank formerly Bank PHB where he worked for 5 years. He resigned from Keystone Bank in 2013. Mr. Okonkwo is currently the General Manager – Group Financial Controller of Nestoil Limited, Nigeria.
Head Stockbroking

Mr. Billiaminu Balogun

Mr Biliaminu Balogun attended the University of Maiduguri, where he graduated in 1990 with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology. He has been a Chartered Stockbroker for the past 19 years and is vastly experienced in the field.

He has worked in many reputable stock broking firms including Valmon Securities, Heritage Securities, MBL Securities and Pilot Finance Ltd. He has attended many courses and seminars on the Capital market. He has been involved in packaging several Public Issues for Bonds and Equities.
